Many apologies in this small clip for all the noises. I am suffering from mild-server hay fever, and had been a hybrid of a Dracula and a Vampire, with hot red eyes, itchy nose and sneezing fit prior to the weekend.
I feel a lot better now, actually felt great after sleeping flat out through the weekend with green sprout juice and my ph shot up to 8.5+ that was so positive.

I started with an introduction to wrapping and packaging my boxes, then prepared shipping labels and finishing all that and ready for posting. As it turned out, I reversed the two clips and put them together back to front.
The good news is, I managed to get to the post office and be on time for the last collection for today, and I am relaxing with my feet up with hot chocolate like most people, as tomorrow is 1st May 2021, and I am looking forward to what May unfolds for us. My first experience of lock-down was in the UK 22nd March 2020, and now we come full circle of 1 year – there was and are still so much fear of the pandemic.
Let’s look forward to what beautiful May brings us – birds, insects, flowers, rains, rainbows and economic crashing, as Britain suppose to open its door to the world as of 14 May, and what is Europe up to then?

Lily of the Valley (Convallaria majalis) or Maiglöckchen in German. I was lucky today, after the post office run, I went to our local farmers market and there on a flower stand, 4 small (tiny) bunches of lily of the valley in a glass in water. It was like one of those moments in your lifetime when suddenly you stop on the track! It’s my first time to see real lily of the valley, though they exist everywhere now on mountains and country side, though where I live is not country side enough, that I can’t simply go to the forest and hunt lily of the valley – there it is – €5 please. The scent from these tiny miniature white flowers is really intoxicating, exhilarating – so, so good, I never smell anything like this – my room just simply fill with flowers and great fragrant at the moment.
So, what is Lily of the valley? (this knowledge is from a herbal encyclopaedia, not my own knowledge) it is in Family Liliaceae, some of other common names are May Lily, May Bells, Convallaria, Our Lady’s Tears (what a name!), Convall-lily, Lily Constancy, Jacob’s Ladder, Ladder-to-Heaven, Muguet.
Lily of the valley is native to Europe, it is now found all over that continent, as well as North America and northern Asia. It is an attractive perennial, growing to nine inches, producing a pair of elliptical leaves, clusters of bell-shaped white flowers on one side of the stem and red berries. It is a widely cultivated garden plant whose leaves and flowers are gathered in the late spring as the plant comes into flower.
Actions: cardiac and uterine stimulant, and diuretic. Components: cardiac glycosides (including the cardenolides convallotoxin, convalloside, convallatoxol, and others), flavonoid glycosides. Medicinal parts: Leaves, flowers – The cardiac glycosides act to strengthen a weakened heart and increase its effectiveness. Traditional uses: Lily of the valley encourages the heart to beat more slowly, regularly, and efficiently, while its strong diuretic properties reduce blood volume and lower blood pressure. However, Lily of the Valley is preferred by European herbalists as it is better tolerated and does not accumulate within the body to the same degree as does foxglove (another heart herb). Relatively low doses are used to support heart rate and rhythm and to increase urine production.
The herb is also used for weak contractions during labor as well as for epilepsy, dropsy, strokes and ensuing paralysis, conjunctivitis, and leprosy.

Ever since I started making tincture, I have tried to make with fresh product and never succeeded, and ending up throwing away a few big jars in bin, and I am hoping this time I am some how maybe more luckier than last, just maybe 🙏

I will update this post when the tincture is matured should be 13-15 July 2021, if all my materials are good today, it will last and matured, otherwise the lot will be thrown away, as my several batch before. However if it a success, I have a good blend for cocktail – then I will learn to mix cocktail as well 😂
I uploaded the wrong version to youtube and deleted the right one with my jar filled with strawberry, raspberry and alcohol. Well my very big jar of this cocktail should be a good success, now I will update every week, just to show off my big jar.

Yoga class went out of the window this morning 😊 sometimes it happened, but the studio always sent zoom recording video later for naughty students who didn’t turn up, I was one of those students today. I got busy, the 1st part of the clip was in 15 March and I did it quickly after the class and could not manage to upload. On that date, thanks to Ingus for trusting and supporting me and Michael. I will be back in the UK, Michael, let’s see how Brexit and this lock-down going – apparently it is pretty bad now in Germany.
The 2nd part was from today. I am doing my best to send out express shipment same day or next day after order placement when possible, it is just how I feel in my heart. Thank you to Jessie, I am sorry I wrote your name wrongly in personal note in the package, didn’t realise that until I finished your shipping label. I am writing this blog soon after the video is uploaded into the tube, so it is the latest up-to-date ever that I manage with blogging, waiting for the collection man/woman from DHL express to pick up the boxes then head to the post office, to get the last collection.
I post 2-3 times weekly, so that I don’t carry huge bags looking like St. Claus with presents for children. Have a beautiful day, the sun is getting strong now,
It has been over a month since I have any update on this blog, but now you have it. All my boxes are unpacked and big bottles are re-bottled to small ones and on stocks and listings now. This short clip shows a small shipment from Thursday and only just managed to have them ready by mid day. I still have a lot to do, there are still 4 orders with a total of 10 bottles of capsule, that is intensive labour for me the next week.
There is a small piece of good news Maya Electra now is available and also I have learned to open another store on shopify. Though it is still very pre-matured site, as I just have it up 5 days ago, unprofessional looking and slow, same as this site. I rather learn and make mistakes by myself – that way I have no one to blame.
To promote my new store, I am giving all my clients since February tracking number, as one look closely on these shipping labels today, they all have tracking numbers. Also from personal experience and from personal expenses, I learned a lot of human behaviour, by not giving new customers the tracking numbers (they opted not to pay for this extra, I offer very cheap international shipping on etsy as I pay the other half myself) and when they interact with me later, regarding delay or shipment never arrived. I am not opening another store out of passion, as I am totally lost with website, but I simply have to do it. Etsy and Ebay platforms are charging far too much for their commissions. An example of this is a bottle of liver cleanse tincture (100ml = 3.5 fl oz) is sold for €40.49 (shipping included) on etsy.com/shop/reefgekko and after deduction all transaction fees, taxes, renewal, vat(s) I have around €29,86 available for deposit from this sales – about 26-27% of sale just simply gone – how nice! Welcome to inflation of 2021 – NO, it actually started well before 2021.
A lot of my clients just texted me (I gave my personal number to all my clients) and we end up doing trade off line – it is great feeling that we can trust one another. I am a human being, you call me up and hear my voice, not a robot. Quite a few of clients in Europe called me up, we just chat and laugh, and complained about the weather – how nice, I am grateful to be alive and laughing.

I am back to the land of ice and snow, not exactly true, as the temperature was very nice. Lots of gravel grids on the pavement at the station, freezing cold wind, actually blowing hard, but I am home, haha 😂
It was bit stressful at first, had to cancel my yoga class, prepared shipping labels, booked pick up, got train ticket, picked up test result at airport, gone through painful checked in procedure, one must register to enter Germany 48hrs before arrival, proof of residence, proof of negative tests. It does not sound much, but when one had 20 passengers in front of you with 4 check in desks opened, everyone was thoroughly checked, then boarding card was printed. The baggage security checked was straight forward but very slow, everything in a bag was scrutinised one/twice. Life at Heathrow was business as usual, security was very very stringent, there was no such thing as sleepy heads. I was sucked into these highly alert energy bubbles, and pulled myself back a lot of time, it was very to get sucked in and worked up.
I am grateful that I left Britain on this particular date (27 Jan) and arrived at my messy place in the very early hours of 28 Jan with the unseen gorgeous beautiful full moon in the sky, the energy was so strong, I could not sleep, the wind blowing, I was so awake, bright, full of energy, it is unlike anything I ever experienced. That day I was up very early, clean up my home (7am), do all the things which need to be done, shipping, trains, plane, working actually non-stop, travelled, got to my home in Germany, 1am in the morning, full of energy, as if nothing has ever happened that day. I learned two days later, yesterday, that anyone arrived at Heathrow now (yesterday) is taken to be 10 days quarantine at Heathrow Airport Hotels at one’s own expenses. Well, I won’t be back at London home for awhile, a nice break actually except I forgot my walking shoes and trainers, but my regiments of yoga x 5 weekly has not been broken, except that travelling day.
I won’t be doing anything with this blog for awhile, so many mess to sort out, piles of DHL express boxes (the contents of my whole shop) are coming as from tomorrow (Monday) and I have another test appointment on Monday (PCR test) with my family doctor, then submit the result to the administration that I registered for returning to my home in Germany.
That is it for now, very beautiful day outside, but I can’t go anywhere, quarantine by law for ten days from travel date, test after 5 days, and guarantee again, until the authority given me a letter/certificate, ending my quarantine period. Bye for now, have a beautiful Sunday.
Spontaneous and never prepare any thing well in advance that was me today. After yoga class in the morning I suddenly have a real pang of panic due to the ever increasing of infection rates in England and the constant bombardment of emails from various platforms, of which I sell my products, with regard to tax, custom paperworks and the constant update of various policies from courier companies.
This recording is done out of panic and I could not even speak properly here, mixing up customer and custom, millimetres and millilitres, repeating myself like a polly parrot; I was carried away speaking to myself and did not realise my computer screen or whatever the camera scrambled and frozen for 7 minutes (04:36-11:28) and audio was playing my favourite Bolero, onto my keyboard practise and yoga practice – how wonderful. Anyway, it is done now and I don’t know how to edit any of my mini video. (correction: custom, not customer, and customer not custom, online portal, not online business hanging)
I logged onto the courier portal and have the shipment with the express picked up after I was off the recording; all went well and they were picked up after lunch, because of my feeling that this is probably my last shipment from England, I decided to do this recording, and I am working and packing all up and heading back to Germany. That would be my safer bet at the moment with regard tax, as I am still registered in Germany. I lost my job before the corona fiasco due to my workaholic, travellaholic ( I travelled non-stop between England, Spain and Germany), having lost my job gave me the freedom to travel, then the lock-down curtain dropped, and now heading back where I started – what a pattern! Will look for flight and test tomorrow 😊 the negative test result must be less than 48hrs before boarding.
Shipped my whole shop to England was easier as Britain was still in the EU, but now I have a real challenge/headache and lots of paperwork to fill in – That is the greeting of 2021 – we all have to be resilient and adapt to all changes if we are to survive and thrive well.

It was a real full day today and running in & out of post office to finish shipments pending from last week before Christmas, as France closed border to England and Ireland, and opens today, and this week.
As we are in tier 4 of the current infection rate, how lovely 💋 I missed my lesson with Mrs. Mills 2 weeks now and she insists on me practising by myself, it does not matter how bad it sounds; yes here I am. I have my lesson every Tuesday. I just wish one day Mrs Mills will have a tablet or small computer so she can see my youtube uploads and gives me advice. However I doubt that very much, her beautiful home does not even have internet.
The soft line above the bars is for vocalist to sing smoothly without breath break, as well as myself to play gently, don’t really know when I manage smoothly, I seem to bash each note as if the physical keys are made from metal 😭. Practice makes perfect, as the saying goes 💕

In my lesson this morning my teacher told me to learn to count again, that is not really funny as I don’t really count from 1 to 4 properly. As I was so concentrated on what notes then missed the count.
It’s a combination of 1st notes of an American Folk Song ‘Old Woman’
The right hand sound so raw and awful, if one knows the nursery then it would sound like ‘Three blind mice’ and the left would be ‘Frére Jacques’
As I did it so badly, of course not resemble to any of the above song. Not loosing sleep over it, learn to count, to read notes and the half crochet, quarter crochet, and the ones with dot as the page is increasing in them now, making my counting really up the creek 😃
